What makes Greenstar different?
- Save over 15% or more than €100* on your current service.
- It's easier to recycle with Greenstar, winner of the Repak Large Operator 2006.
- More convenient for you than bags.
- Your two bins will be delivered to you free of charge, so there's no cost involved in switching to Greenstar.
- Pay monthly, half yearly or annually by direct debit or pay quarterly, half yearly or annually by credit card, laser card or cheque.

Greenstar Pay As You Go Payment Card Explained
|
If you're a bag customer, a holiday home owner, or have small amounts of waste, we have an exciting new product for you - a Payment Card, which allows you to pay as you go at no extra cost!
|

- A payment card, linked to your account with Greenstar
- Choice of a 140 litre (equivalent of 2 refuse bags) or 240 litre (equivalent of 3 refuse bags) refuse bin 240 litre recycling bin.

Weekly collection for refuse bins and every second week for recycling bins.
- A Monthly Charge of €4 which will be charged to your card on the 5th working day of each month. Then you only pay for each bin empty. i.e.
- 140 litre Refuse Bin: €8.25/lift.
- 240 litre Refuse Bin: €12.00/lift.
- 240 litre Recycling Bin: €3.20/lift.
- Bins & card supplied free of charge.

How do I get started?
- Register you interest and complete the sign up form.
- Within 5 working days of receipt of your application, you will receive your Payment Card Welcome Pack in the post.
- Your new bins will also be delivered within 5 working days.
- To activate your account, simply top up your Payment Card (for the minimum amount of €10) at any of the Post Offices or local shops that display the PostPoint sign listed below. You can also top up your account by Credit or Debit card by calling Lo Call 1890 500 800 quoting your account number on the back of the Payment Card. The monthly fee of €4 will be charged to your card on the 5th working day of each month.

Once you have received your bins and your Payment Card is in credit, you can present them for collection immediately. You will receive a calendar in your Welcome pack informing you of your scheduled collection days and you can also avail of a FREE text message reminder the day before your scheduled collection. (To receive this FREE service, please ensure you tick the box on the Sign Up Form).
N.B. Please remember that your account must be in credit the day before your scheduled collection day to ensure collection.
